I have a 68" 5-Blade Warp Drive. My motor is a e-series case with 0-470 Angle Valve Cylinders. Its suppose to be 260hp. Does any run this prop on a 260 Horsepower motor? If so whats its pitched at.. i would like to turn 2900-3000

I have a6 blade on my lycoming 0-435 with 0-480 cylinders probably 245 horse my blades are 72 in, I have 9 degrees pitch in them. I think you are going to lose push with the shorter blades I have a 4 blade on my 160 hp 0-320 and I had a friend who damaged the blades running a deer down and I cut the bladea down and it sounded like you were doing something but it wouldn,t push. I would try around 11 degree pitch and tach it and go from there also I wouldn,t turn it more than 2800 rpm I don,t think you gain anything you just burn more gas and wear your motor out prematurely.

I have a 70" 4 blade warp and I run 2850 with my 220 gpu set at 7 1/2 degrees. Fiberglass 13' boat.

I run a 6 -blade 68 1/2'' warp on my IO-540, set it at 9 to 10 deg. At 9 it turn's 3080, thats my jump out of the hole setting, at 10 deg. its arround 2850 or so, cruising pitch.

I would set the 5 blade 68'' at 8 to 8 1/2 deg. with about 250 hp, this setting should have your RPM at about 2700 to 2800.

My uncle has a 280 hp 540, 5 blade 72'' set at 8deg turning 2850

My neighbor has the same setup with a carb motor he runs 9 deg I also have the same setup but injected and run 10 deg.

Wanna Turn about 2900-3000 for the hole shot. This prop is on a little 200lb. Shallow Sided 11ft. Predator with Race Style Metal-Works. I'll figure it out..thanks for the help

9 or 10 deg will be close for 2900 to 3000 rpms ,if you really want a good hole shot turn it down to 7 or 8 deg :D
