I just wanted to drop a post to air out my mind. I guess I feel guilty that people seem to get upset when they e-mail, , PM me or send e-Bay questions to me and I cannot get back to them that minute . It is that time of year that we all love to be outdoors. I work all year to keep people going to the woods they love. Give me a couple weeks to do the same. I appreciate everybody's business,but I need a little vacation time also. There are some times that I look at the computer on Thursday then leave Friday for the weekend. When I get home Sunday night the last thing I am up for is looking at the computer. I will usually work late on Monday to make up for being gone on the weekend. I may not look at the computer until Tuesday. Then I have a bunch of e-mails saying people have tried to contact me several times and I did not get back with them so I must not want their money. Or they bought something on ebay and paid but I must be stealing their money because it took me a day to get back to them. I work in a shop not in front of a computer everyday. When your truck is in the shop do you guys call the Dealer at home on Sunday to ask about your truck. I did not think so. I am also sure your do not call at 9:30 at night. I was out of town and off work for over a week for Thanksgiving. The month of December is always the hardest month to work through. Please keep your questions coming because I love to answer them. But if I do not reply right away it is not because I am ignoring you, or that you are not important to me. I just may be with my family or in the woods. I am just asking everybody to understand how hard it is to keep everything going and everybody happy by myself. These websites are the things that I cannot have anybody else do. Thanks for your understanding.

AMEN BROTHER! My wife got mad at me last week because my phone rang 11 times while we were putting up the Christmas tree at 8:30 at night. Right then I realized it would be in my best interest to only answer the phone from 9to5 like the rest of the airboat dealers! I do not know the reason or what it was about but when I read somebody couldn't get a hold of you, I chuckled and said isn't it the holidays I'm sure he is doing something and will return the call when he returns! HMMMMMMM 9TO5 SURE SOUNDS GOOD DON'T IT Mike!

I get calls all hours of the night. 7 days a week. I try to run all my call through my cell phone so I can turn it off at night.

I know exactly what you mean Mike.

We work hard all year and we like to take some time off of work during hunting season to enjoy some free time.

This is why I went back to Engineering and working for someone else. Owning your own business is satisfying but you are married to it.

I found working running airboats to be much more fun than building them. Less aggervations and way less hassle and I didnt have to work 20 hour days anymore.

Anybody get mad at someone taking time off should try the business for yourself before ya complain.

Frequently when you get parts, product or callbacks on time it is because SOMEBODY didn't go home when they should have and were still at the shop working while YOU were home with family and the warm hearth having supper together and kissing your kids goodnight and watching the late show.

I have never met you or spoken to you but I have heard a lot of good things about you and if you are anything like WaterThunder I am sure you are one fine guy, I started off as just a customer to Dave now he is my friend and I have seen first hand how many calls he gets in a day. I my self am in a job of my own choosing a Police Swat officer that I am called on 24-7 so I totally understand what you are saying and like the others have said you have done a lot for this site to me you are to the Aircraft guys what Thunder is to car motor folks so you just enjoy your off time life is to short to worry about the small stuff advice and talent like you and thunder have is worth the wait.
