I check this forum 10 times a day and there no new mini to look at. I think I'm going to start on a new mini soon. I want to make a mini that will run dry. This boat will be a small deck over. I only got about 4 weeks and then I got to go back to work for the next 6 months working 84 hours a week.(no fun) I will post pic as I get things done.

Hey Josh, In a couple of weeks we will have a new mini hull. It will be 10 ft X
5 ft 6 inches. I also have 2 completed mini's at my shop now. Stop by and
look. I also a used aluminum hull and trailer for sale. Thanks, Chuck

I agree go-devils are nothing but a pain in the a** to drive. I used to drive an old VW aircat and last two years been using a GD. That old airboat wouldn't run dry and wouldn't get near dry mud. Even would get stuck on lilly rafts, but I would take it over a GD anyday!!! Looking forward to getting my mini later this spring. Hopefully the testing on the new 40hp Kohler I have heard rumors about will be done by then!!!

Hey, look at my mini in the members poto under Gary Gilbert. It is fun to run, even with two on board. It will run dry sometimes with the right ground. It don't like black mud, even with slick bottom. It is a VW, runs all day on 6 to 10 gallons of pump gas. Moter is cheap to work on too.

We don't say that the 35 HP will run dry. It will move around on some dry ground.
The 40 Kohler I feel will make it better. An A65 cont. will go where you want to go.
With the weight of the complete boat being aprox 630 lbs., it's not to hard to get it
unstuck. More Power will make them run dry, but running dry will damage the the
bottom on any boat and make it not run as good in the water. Keep in mine that a
hill boat cost more than a water boat. It's all in what someone wants. If it's saving
money, keep it in the water. Thanks, Chuck

Hello, I'm just getting started. I want to build a one man using a 16hp 2cyl briggs. Any help or ideas would be welcomed.

thanks, Morrie

Josh,

I'm still about 1/2 thru builidng my MiniPro 116. I bought my hull from Chuck, and I'm building my own rigging. I'm a lone ranger up here in NC, and tend to follow the voices in my head.... Hmm... I hear a voice now telling me to clean my guns.

Chuck has been a straight shooter in every thing I've had to do in dealing with him. He's not in this to get rich. He's in it because he loves it.

If Chuck tells you something, you can pretty much go to the bank with it. (except for the 5 gallon coffee pot - he kinda' stretched that.....) O.K., it IS a 5 gallon coffee pot. But it puts it out a cup a time. I just had to throw that in there Chuck.
