Sunday jrlyles while takin a quick ride at loughmans before loading his boat rolls it in the grass.JR a long time airboater from West Palm with years of expierance runin saw grass found out that the grass at loughmans is very unlike saw grass and his palm beach style hull was now match for it. All turned out well no damage as he was going real slow and got a early mornin bath to boot.

That is the only man I ever seen that rolls his boat and laughs till he falls down about it...SOBER...sure does show his character...What a fella!!

Jr. said them kids paid money to see stuff roll over at that monster truck thing and there wasn't a soul around to witness it when he rolled over.

hey yall i dont know who started that vicious rumor but ill explain,i thought i was fealing a little drag ,you know kind of like when your polymer is getting a little loose,so i found a nice soft spot and layed her over so gently, and im happy to let you guys know that the bottom was just fine. i just hope i dont start fealing that little drag again anytime soon.damn that was cold.....

What you call that grass at Loughman's. I've been barefoot or bluejean duck huntin' most of my life, and never met up with sawgrass till the Bud Ride. I couldn't get the pictures I wanted from Mudcat's boat, so I checked out the bottom (firm, like I like) and clum out. Got the pictures ( see Marsh Rider Issue 4 Bud Marquis Ride Commemorative) but a blade of grass snuck up my camo's and played hell with my leg. Doc's been working on ever since, but I think I might as well have been snakebit.

If you don't have the Bud issue, you can subscribe to FAA's official publication Marsh Rider for $25+tax by writing faamagazine@msn.com. We'll send you one of Bud's plus the next five issues, and bill you later.
