Hey guys I was wondering what every one thought about putting low compression 502 on a 14' x 7', it puts out 450 hp and 550 ft/lbs. of torque. Just curious to see what evry one thought about that type of set up.
I got the 454/425 H.P. on a 14 X 8 with the long belt and the C.R.
Before the C.R. it had a real wicked torque roll with those amonut of ponies
I'd say it's definately doable weight wise, just hang on when you "jab" it!
550ft lbs at 4,000 rpm, 6,200$ from summit, sounds like a good deal.
till you realize your short a CARB $450
a hei and wires $125
i keep reading and youll need a electric fuel pump, water neck, still gotta pay for shipping and this is still a 750lb( roughly ) chunk of steel.
anyway the point is your still gonna be at 7,000$
so talk to waterthunder and get a real engine, and itll be complete.
