Hi Down Under, welcome to the forum. Were glad you found us. Lots of Alumatech experience here. I don't know Red River well, but Alumatech has a great reputation. Be hard to find better. Have you considered talking with American Airboats, and Diamondback? They are also 5 star builders. There are others, those just happen to come to mind right now.

Glad to have you aboard.

Scotty

Thanks for the welcome and the replys. You have so many choices might have to move.I need all the advice i can from you people, we only have one builder here sort of limits your choices.
Thanks again

Post what you want in a boat and how it will be used and we will all be glade to help. This is the airboating information capital of the world!

Alumitech is one of the stoutest built boats I've seen out there. Like Dave said "What are you gonna do with it"?

alumitech has been building commercial boats for all kinds of applications for years. give them a call. The facilty they have is top notch.

I wan't to use it for fishing and recreation .Most of its use will be in salt water mangrove flats and creeks. It will have to do some sandbar hoping but very little dry ground running. It will see a bit of rough water 1' - 2' chopp.I was thinking 18 ' but when you add the weed rake and rudders it might be to long to get in the places i wan't to go 16' might be better.Shipping to Aus might be a deciding factor to if it won't fit in a container roll on roll of will cost a lot more .
Fuel use per hour 496 EFI as to stroker 383 carbed.
