what happened to the blue and white boat at jolly gator

I think thats the one that hit a patch of black dirt and did an endo. Some one said the hull was cracked already and when he hut the stickey stuff it acted like a shovel and the front end stopped and the back end didn't. Hal carried him up to the Gator for his chopper ride to see Ole Sawbones. I think I heard he had a broke leg or hip.

I know the guy that owns that boat. That wreck busted his legs up pretty good. He was at Gopher Slough last Sat., but I didn't see him get out of his truck.

On the bright side...he said that Waterthunder motor, as well as the gear box, seems to be okay.

I doubt he would be willing to sell it. He will more than likely get a new hull. I hope rick makes it to the SCAC meeting wednesday.Rick's a nice guy and fun to run with.I hope he gets back in the saddle soon. :occasion5:

He is in a bad spot and will be missing alot of work so he does want to sell his motor and gearbox! Then when he get's back on his feet he is building a new boat! Anyway PM me with your phone number and I will PM you Ricks and mine if you have any questions about the motor!

Sorry to hear that. I haven't seen him since before the accident and didn't realize he was in such a bad situation. I will get with skeeter , greg, and the other scac members and see what we can do to help out. Thunder ,I missed your post earlier where you had said he wanted to sell the motor.

Rick is a hoot to hang out with and is a good guy. He is a DIE HARD airboater always on the river. From what he told me saturday at Lake Harney (gopher slough) He was riding with a group of buddies and was in the middle of the pack, he went to take a wee little short cut to cut the corner, it happened to be black mud so he put the throttle down to skate over it. He hit the black mud and the boat flipped back over front throwing him and I think he said the boat ran him over but I am not 100% sure about that part. What I am sure of is The Big Man upstairs was watchin out for him. I told him he better be in early service @ church in the morning. He snickered
Geneva 550 that is a good idea to try and see what ricks needs are. He is busted up pretty bad.
