I'm new at airboating and i am on my way to buying one. i just wanted to know what are the real pros and cons between a deckover and a regular open hull?? Which would be better for a begginer?? thanks

Deckovers are most often seen on smaller boats. I think it was whitebear who recently mentioned that his son learned airboating on a small deckover. Good learner boats for a beginner... and good fun boats for a veteran.
Although, at the lake cleanup yesterday, I did see a full size boat with a 100% deckover... and it was a great looking boat!!!
Get yourself to one of our events. (May 20 at Loughman Lodge near Sanford/Mims & May 27 at Shady Oaks near Lake Wales) Be there for at the launch time. We're all friendly. You may not make a friend for a ride that day, (but you might) but at the very least, you'll see up close and personal many different kinds of boats both on the trailer and in the water. There's hardly no better education for a newcomer.
