The proper traditional "paper invites" go out in the mail within the next 48 hours. RSVP website is being built right now.
The open invite for everyone is already out there. Some may think we're joking about this, we're not. As an example: Ken - even though we've had our differences, you're welcome to attend. There is a bridge out there, and water is passing under it 24/7. Anyone attending the wedding (including bride & groom) will have to pass under that same bridge as well. This is no joke - you're welcome to attend.
Our wedding is planned for leaving Loughman at 2 in the afternoon or so, and riding to Pawpaw for a relatively quick and to the point ceremony by about 3 in the afternoon. Then riding back to Loughman's for some cookout and cake. and smiles shared by everyone.
Now, I have a feeling there is room for a ride in there. Either in the morning, or after the ceremony maybe detour up to Puzzle lake and the econ river's beautiful scenery for a bit while the food gets to cookin.
Maybe Sunday. I do know this, it will be a moonless night saturday night. Hopefully a cool November evening. I'm learning the fine art of froggin' and am told this is PRIMO froggin' weather! There is miles of froggin grounds out there. Group rode or not, I'll bet there will be a few night expeditions the night of the 18th.
Yeah, there are a lot of Southern airboater's on our guest list. Basketcase is the best man!
Y'all are more than welcome to tag along. It's a beautiful stretch of river thru there. Unlike any other area in the state. Rich with thousands of years of history. And hardly a human residence to be seen. The area of the wedding is almost as remote as the everglades. Not quite, but almost.
A beautiful ride area for sure!!!
