all I want to do is go to the river. does not matter to me where we ride but we did find alot of new trails north this weekend. any where is fine with me

All right all. Let's make a decision now so we are able to get this thing organized and get some donations from all over going. Some places require 30 days.

Man...we are gonna miss this one. Hopefully there will be more of this type of run in the future. Dakota, do I get toys or do I send $$? Let me know and I will send it to you. Boy, are you gonna miss me. LOL I will be thinking of you all as we glide over the Carribean in that hugh ship! Can't you just see my husband following in the airboat? Never been on a cruise...looking forward to it.

Have fun and take lots of pictures. But I think I would rather be on that big boat with Rusty Wallace than on the airboat. :lol:

Now just make up our minds on the place. I believe that we should make it Thomas Landing at Kissimmee. Miss Betty has offered us a place to have it, And it's close to center as we'll get it.

Don't know how the water level will be but we need to come to some type of place to go to.

We were just there people. I am not saying Lake Washington North but I have never been to Lone Cabbage and that area and I would like somewhere different!!

lake washington has 2 water load ramps& 1 dry ramp.it has restrooms and pevilians with cover and bbq grills.i took cchart north river last friday night.we were only in the lakes (2) of them foer the total of 15 min.the rest of the time we were in trails.we can either run to the cabbage to eat.or we can eat at the lake . and then just ride north.i know all the trails north to the cabbage. we would only be in lk washington 4 two min. then jump into trailsall the way to lk. winder west side into trails from there we would stat in trails all the way to the cabbage . we would not be in lk poinset. witch is the first lk south from the cabbage.lk washington is very easy to get to for u and the media!!!!!!!i can even take u on trails next to the duda fence line !!!!i will post pic tommarow.

st johns sounds good to me can't wait lets get it done I think that is the same weekend of the abate toy run with all the motorcycles will be in this area and so will the press what a better spot for that we want press and this would be a great place for it.

Well, I'll climb onboard the "Washington: Ride north" wagon. I'll go anywhere. And our "melbourne nemesis" will be on a cruise, so that's a good thing. (We love ya Jeff! we love ya enough to kid around)

So that's settled as far as I'm concerned.

But to keep it interesting & fun and to please most of the people most of the time, how's this:

New Years eve @ Thomas Landing?
Early Feb in south Florida in conjunction with the FAA meeting?
Mid march at lake Hernando? (Swampjet MAY be recovered from his back surgery - I HOPE!!!)

And I'd like to see a ride either to or from Loughman Lake Lodge after those. We've not ridden there yet as a group.

Don't forget the Louisana marshes someday? And Platte River in Nebraska near the end of 2006 summer?

Welcome to Southern Airboat! That trail ya'll are talkin about is not the one CC led me through from South up to the Oak Head is it, (pretty tight if it is).

Had the "Rusty" cruise tickets bfore the boat! I'll especially miss my Southern Airboat Family, (still tryin' to figure out how to clone myself, I'll let you know when)! I like your idea of the next few months which could be possible for us!

Ya'll have a good, safe ride and know we'll miss ya!

Hey Basket, as a matter of fact one of the trails are but the water is alot higher and someone has been through there. It is not like it was in August believe me. It was really nice.
If it is a go I will call and get the pavillion saved for us that weekend.

I think the hurricane is going to finish the road to thomas landing off unless you have a FORD truck ( I had to start something) so we would be safer to plan on a landin with a paved road for the well being of the press and those who dont have an 8" lift !! thats a great idea to plan another ride to support thomas landing. country pick a date
