Where to Ride

Question I am going to be in Fort Pierce this weekend and looking for a good place to ride nearby. Any suggestions would be appreciated. US1 and Sr70 area. Thanks in advance.

Hey Badbilly,
Closest place is Lake Okeechobee.

You can go west on SR70 right into Okeechobee City. It's about a 30-45 min ride.

I'd put in at Okeetantie.

It's probably the closest place with any water, unless you wanna head north to the St. Johns, or Kissimee.

The everglades are dry as a bone.
