i have a 10' or so gig pole i got from somewhere in fla. well, i snapped it the other day and need a new one. can anybody lead me to where i can get a new one? it wasn't a bream fishing pole, this pole is all 1 peice.

Your closest stand of bamboo. Cut one of your preference, hang from a tree for about 2 weeks to dry good and straight. Then cover with urithane.

A lot of people been frogging a lot longer than me, but my personal opinion is to only use a Fiberglas or bamboo pole in the case it meets the prop.

Google mudhole frog kits In Florida

BTW not affiliated in any way.

thanks, that looks exactly like what i have been using. it has caught thousands of frogs.

i'm gonna order 2 of them tomorrow.

i have one on a bream pole i am using now. it works fine but is not exactly what i am looking for in a gig pole.

10-4. Just make sure u ask if they have them in stock!!! Ordered 3 kits and only 2 came. Next shipment was 3 weeks out had to cancel the 3rd and buy local for alot more $$. But it all worked out in the end.

I've had good results repairing them by just simply taking the gig off and feeding it through the bottom end and epoxing at the splice. Might be a few inches shorter but it works.

i ordered 2 frog gig kits from mudhole. the poles came in but hadn't recieved the gigs or the rubber butt cap for the poles yet.

my old pole that was broke i fixed by slipping in a section of a fiberglass bream pole and used two small screws to hold it in place. it looks like it will work long enough to get me by untill i get the rest of my stuff in the mail.

i have a backup gig that has one of those old timer gigs on a alum extension pole. only problem is that i put it somewhere in my shed it think and i can't find it. lol.

I always buy the 15ft bream poles from walmart take the last 2 pieces out makes it 10ft then put the head on they cost about 10 bucks
My son and i use them every weekend and they hold up pretty good even if you do break one your only out 10 bucks we have 3 on the boat

Some guys use the poles in them flags they stick on the side of the road at like car lots and sales and such, the ones tall and skinny like some guys I know. Not sure if they work best or they just get them for free :)
