Remember I mentioned that the boat would not turn off sometimes, until the carb ran out of fuel, when I switched the boat off. Duh, was going to try and figure it out last weekend, and found a piece of asphalt rock, stuck between remote starter button and bracing, holding the starter button down at times.

Easy fix, but I bet it didn't do that starter's longevity any good.............lol

THis stuff is fun, too bad you gotta get old to be able to afford all the fun toys in life.

I guess 41 ain't that old.

Some things are worth waiting for LOL !

I started my kids off young with em, but only one of the kids still airboats. Not everyone has the interest.

In my case its an addiction AND an affliction. I thought I was done with them but here I am again.

Guess Ill always come back to airboats. Good peoploe, good things happen and more fun than anything else I dream up.

If it was cheep to airboat then airboating might be cheep too.

"If it was cheap to airboat,, then airboating might be cheap too"

That's a heck of a statement there Scotty.

Where's my pen......I gotta write that down someplace!

I think that "partially" because it is expensive we have a nicer class of folks in airboating. More mature and serious (who me?) minded folks.

Ya meet the nicest people around propellers.

Up in Kentucky where I'm from a very common sight in mountain communities was a little 12'X60' mobile home sitting on a hillside somewhere with a satellite dish, a $250,000 Mack coal truck (which paid the bills), a Lincoln Town Car and a new Ranger bass boat sittin in the yard.

I always thought 'good for them' ...... they've got their priorities about right as far as I'm concerned. Big fine houses are fine if you can afford to own them, but we only pass this way one time. Take time for what makes you happy.

Yup,
Y'all are right.
Life's short.

I got your message loud and clear Scotty. The first time I read it.
It's says it all, in a few short words. That's what I like!

I have to think real hard to come up with an airboater that I would'nt want to be around.

Hey Olf,
You ever see a trailer hitch on a hearse?

Didn't think so.
Guess you can't take it with you now can ya.

Good one Olf.

Luggage rack. Guess that's an old tired joke about the hearse.

Sometimes they are the best ones though.

Wow, thats crazy. I beg you to please take that push button start out all together. If I would have been at the shop I would have had them remove that feature. A new ignition will be only a few buck and is easy to install. Dont go crazy on too many upgrades. I just want you to play with that boat for a little while and then I will help you upgrade.
