Winter Weather Forecast

Anyone else heard the grimacing winter weather forecast being discussed lately with the La Nina presence? Looks like a warm and dry winter ahead. Lake O and many others are going to have some tough times ahead.

dryer than a nun in church, i aologize to all the catholic airboaters for what i just said, but ya gotta admit thats dry 8)

Yup,
I believe it's gonna get dry this year.
Bigtime.
Dry as a popcorn fart.

Looking at this graph, the Kissimee basin, and Lake O didn't get as much as it needed. Lake O levels are still low from the 06 drawdown. Looks like the Glades are gonna go dry again this winter / spring. That's how it looks to me anyways.

Whatever main lake around Atlanta is so dry right now they're makin white people shower on even days and black people shower on odd days. Or vise versa.

It looks like the hill burners will rule the marsh this winter!!! :laughing6:
I guess that means there will be alot of aircraft boats in the marsh :D

Looks like 3 A will be Sawgrass University's private play ground again this year :D

come on guys you were all born and raised in florida most of us generational.you know never to believe the weather forcast. it might get wetter than when i walk in a room full of women.

geneva i couldn't have said it better. once it get cold and the grass dies it will be super fun. sliding for days

I guess I've been listening to the wrong people. It was always my understanding that a La Nina pattern generally brought
more rain to the Southeast, not less ...... that it was drier up North.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! I'll believe it when I see it. :)

how bout the nuns bondsman

Hey Olf I've always read that the El Nina brings rain to the southeast and the La Nina brings dry weather to the SE. The last major El Nina I remember was in 1996 and early 1997. I think it rained around the Orange Park & Doctors Inlet area every day during those times. At least it did where I was working at the time.

Ah, OK ...... you're probably right, Jody. It's all just Spanish to me but I see your point.
I guess if somebody needs an interpreter they'd better not call me ..... .

Anyway, I hope all the dire predictions are wrong.

show me that church and when i walk in there will be enough holy water for awhile.

i hope i get out of purgatory for this.

BOTTOM LINE WE NEED A HURRICANE. Not to hurt anyone but give us the rain and some WORK. Get this economy moving. I hate it when the water is low and those CARMOTORS have to stay in the channel!

Bondsman ---- you aint rite  Your gonna need a bondsman to get you out of purgatory

Hey, anything can happen.

They were expecting an extremely wet 06 winter, and drained down the lake. The expected wet winter never came We been playing catch up ever since.

If they are predicting a dry winter this year, perhaps I better go buy some upgraded rain gear to put in the boats.

Just might come in handy!
