Runnin with STAN is always an adventure for sure. When i go up there for a weekend of runnin there is no tellin what it will involve. This past weekend covered dry ground unloads and run to the pond, dodge the trees while stabbin frogs, get it on the trailer after drivin up the hill to the trailer just as the storm hits. The early afternnon of saturday was bumper cars off the trees followin a 12 x 7 220 gpu through trails that some of the other boats wouldn't even attempt and he had trashed his rake (the guy I was followin) earlier in the day, that after dry unloading and into a deep lake through the waves with the wind blowin so hard it would take your steering away from you, turn the rudders and nothin happens until you hit 3000 rpm to overcome the crosswind on your rudders and do that in a trail your rubbin the sides on trees LOL what a run. anybody feel lucky ??? you oughta try it you might like it, one guy there said afterwards he did it once and after he rebuilt his boat he wouldnt do it again LOL
Follow that up with a run across lake george after watching kicker boats come back to the dock who ran to the mouth of the lake and turned back, slide up the spring run, skin the frogs from the night before and then grillo em several ways along with some venison, alabama sausage, bubba burgers, corn on the cob, local sausages, some mystery meat, and some of the best folks in the world to hang with. Oh yeah a serious size stereo system setup and the girls line dancin in the spring run in bikini's man it don't get much better than that.
