I think that's Cap't Dave Markett's back yard. (Big Daddy here on s/a) You may want to drop him a note.

Maybe A1Mudpuppy too.

That sounds like a lot of fun Vernon! Good luck and happy fishin'

matt.

Thanks Matt, forgot about Big Daddy.
Just found out about A1 from Darkwader and WOOD, they just came by to look
at my bimini boat top. I have there ph#s now. I'll give them a call.

I'm trying to get a hold of Darkwader. He left me a message on my phone that says it's out of order. I dropped it it the water 2 Saturdays ago and lost my numbers so if someone would let him know to check his PM for my temp number I should have a phone by Friday.

Now as far as Ozella are you going to the end or to John Brown? Me I usually end up at the end of Ozella Trail and head out from there. Just around the corner is Peck's Old Port Rest. for some lunch. Reds are hit and miss for catching I don't know about the Trout ,haven't been out for them in awhile. Scallops are in , got my limit whit in 3 hours...thats me in the water 100% and everyone else(3) from the family about 50% in the water. That's what I'm plannig to to Saturday so I'll be out there. Have Mike give me a call

Hey A1, Ya doing alright???????? Tell me this, someone told me from Bayport to Homosassa by boat shows 15 miles on GPS, does that sound right? I have a private ramp I can use near Bayport and that wouldn't be too bad as long as I run about 30 mph average. I just don't want to fight the crowds and I don't get too early a start anymore. Thanx, Cajun

Yep doing OK, Yes that pretty close but it's more like 20-22 mile, according to my GPS, where everyone is scalloping, I spoke to a buddy of mine and he said that they pick up there limit just North of Pine Island. I need to do a scouting trip one day.
