Big Announcement -- KRVSA April Fools in the Marsh

Mark your calendars. KRVSA is planning a huge bash on Lake Kissimmee for April 01, '06. We want this to be the largest airboater based cleanup ever staged.

KRVSA has blocked the entire new motel being built at Camp Mack for airboaters - 38 units / first come - first served. This will be for the annual KRVSA Lake & Marsh Cleanup of the entire Kissimmee Chain.

KRVSA will give away their raffle Diamondback / Sensenich - Jurnigan 0-540 / Powershift / Airboat Pros dreamboat. (Tickets still available @ 5 for $20.)

Camp Mack is dedicating the entire facility to airboaters and the Lake Cleanup that day. No Bass Tournament interruptions on stage. There will be additional surprise announcements to come.

All clubs are welcome and all airboaters are encouraged to attend.

Jeff - What is Airboating for Answers? With our new rudders - That seems like something we'd like our boat to attend!

By the way, many have asked why we put a large question mark on our rudders. No, it's not that we are fans of Batman and the Riddler. It is because Laura and I both know and understand that questions are the key to knowledge. And also because it is just a little weird... just our style.

When one is truly seeking knowledge, there is no such thing as a stupid question!

Airboating for Answers is the event held every year at River Ranch. I think it is a little later in the year maybe around June or July?? It is on support of the Juvenile Diabetes research thing. I think Patty has more info on airboattrader. It is a little old info i believe but it will give you an idea of what its about and what goes on.

The KRVSA cleanup is a BIG DEAL!! Lots of boats and lots of garbage!!! I haven't ever participated but I've been on the lake while its been going on and it draws a good turnout. Lots of fun and good food too I hear.

Airboating for Answers to benefit Juvenile Diabetes Foundation is the brainchild of Patty Corey "Powershift Patty". She has this dream of a big annual event for Florida's airboaters wherein the industry and enthusiasts get together to show their wares and recreate for a great casue. '06 will be the third year. It is held at Westgate River Ranch Resort just off Hwy. 60 where the river dumps out of Lake Kissimmee. Last year, KRVSA hosted a Whole Lake Poker Run. So far, the weight of promotion and execution has fallen upon the shoulders of one very involved lady. She needs HELP.

The date is usually late April or early May.
