boat ramp at the west end of Malabar road

Can anyone tell me if you can access canal 40 and Three Forks Run now that the water is low from the Malabar ramp? Iv'e never put in there, but would like to access and go toward Bulldozer canal. I grew up in South Brevard but only went there south of 1-92 by johnboat many years ago.

Today a friend of mine and fellow airboater had his truck and airboat trailer stolen at Lake Florence in Cocoa. The truck is a Ford F-250, burgundy with lower half of truck sprayed with burgundy rhinoliner, a 6" lift and 37" super swamper tires. Trailer is 11" long with Ford 4 spoke rims. Any help w...

Cypress Lake

I've been checking through the forum back to Nov. and can't find any info on the launch at the lake. Are we "good to go", or are we banned by the new zoo owners?

Re: Spring Turkey around the corner...whatca seein' or heari

I know this post is a little late, but here's some input for you. I went out in Central Fla. on the 19th of Feb. and heard 5 different birds gobblin and walked up on one later in the morning doing his "thing" on top of a hen at about 25 yards. They both looked at me, but continued what they were doi...

Re: Turkey hunting

Gotta love it! Like cowley said, I've hunted everything from quail to elk, but nothing beats that heart pounding that a big gobbler can provide. I like my deer hunting, but LOVE my bird's!

Re: Gardener Marsh

I appreciate all the input. Like I said, been a while since my last ride over there. I spend more of my time on the St. John's when I can get away from workin so much. Still "new" to air boating, not new to hunting the marsh, and really enjoy my boat since getting it last summer. Been building my hu...

Gardener Marsh

It's been a while since I have run the marsh, but it has been raining a lot out that way. Is it wet enough to run? Thanks for any info.

Re: Ground Venison

For next year, try about 10-12% beef fat to your venison. It gives enough taste and probably won't clog the ticker so bad. You can get your fat on at Publix, and it's free!!! Just give them a call in the a.m. so they can set some aside for you. I ask for as much as they will give me so I can go thro...
