Re: Engine builder

I'm not a car motor guy, but if I were I think I would rather have a guy with proven success with air boat engines than a a guy with proven success with race engines.

Re: Paint remover

I used aircraft stripper. Bought at paint supply company. The can even braced about not having methylene chloride. Never heard the one direction thing before, I'll give it a try on the transom. Got paint off second side using belt sander to knock the top off and a DA WITH 80 grit paper. Used 4 belts...

It takes 5 or 6 applications to get the paint off. The aircraft says bare metal in 45 minutes, that's a joke. This new ...

The Holly two barrel is good place to start. John Fenner has posted several times what jets you want.
Do a search for Holly Carburetor, you will find a bunch of information.

Re: Maintaining Bolt Torque

If you bought the boat for a inspected purpose and it doesn't pass inspection, why not take it back to manufacture and let them spend the $176? The other side is how long will it take to make the $176.00 , and what would it cost you for manufacture to do the mods. $176.00 doesn't seem like that much...

Don’t sandblast. Sand gets too many places you don’t want it to. Aircraft paint remover works good.

Re: Powering oil tanker with airprops (is it possible)?

I'm sure to the people who view the world from your point of view its all nonsense, but nonetheless. Many of us are willing to pay more for organic, give up meat (or substantially reduce consumption, and make many other sacrifices to fix the creeping problems last couple of generations left us with....

How hard is to steer with no power on it? Could be cable, maybe the way it's set up. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Also if you fill out your profile to include area you live , you might have someone close who can help you.

one coil feeds twp spark plugs, one each on two different cylinders that are on opposite strokes.

Is there a better way to explain this? I appreciate the information.
