Re: 6.0l stand alone wiring harness

I used speartech. Little pricy but didn't have one to rework. Works great, all new harness with a used ecm for around $900 built to my specs

Re: New build with ? LS engine

I've been running this setup for a year now. Longevity wise, I'm not one to lie and will let you and everyone else know if/when it gives up the ghost.. The most important thing on these motors is the tune! IMO My engine tuner didn't get crazy with the timing and there is still more power to be made,...

Re: New build with ? LS engine

I was in the same boat (not wanting to spend an arm and a leg on an LS) and yes these LS motors are pretty dang tough in stock form.. I run a "bone stock" low mileage LQ4 out of a 06 2500HD truck and so far its been flawless! I have 5K in Motor, Supercharger, Accessories, and custom harness w/comput...

Re: RPM's

How much snap did you loose? Very noticiable?

Think im just gona order a medium hub for my R's and see what happens.. Should put me back around the 3 mark and hopefully drop a few hundred rpm at cruise..

Re: RPM's

Im in the same situation with a 80" (Set on 3.5 turning 5600) thinking of swapping to a med hub to help lower the cruise rpms. Looking forward to hear your results

Anyone have any experience with these? Looking at maybe putting a pair on top of my grass rake, not sure if I really want a big light bar..

I run a GARMIN 546 model with the G2 vision card, little pricey $$ but IMO you get what you pay for in the long run.

Re: Test & Tune Supercharged Panther Lightning (video's)

Don't really care about top speed, 50-55 would be more than fast enough for a ride boat down here. Midrange power is what I'm after without losing much snap. The fast cruise is great, about 33-3400rpm deep water now. Not sure at what speed, need to take a gps next time.. As far as cage room, I know ...

Test & Tune Supercharged Panther Lightning (video's)

Dont know what this 6.0L is making, but she swings a 3B 80"R with a 2.68 5400rpm on Pitch 3 tied to trailer. Im happy with it, hopefully it should be pretty close to 5600rpm on the water..

Welding battery cable?

Anyone used welding cable for battery cables? I have access to some 1gauge for cheap (free) : )
Mind you these would be soldered and heat shrunk on all connections, or would it be better to just buy marine battery cable instead??

Re: pro charger super charger

x2 on the magnuson.. Instant boost/torque from right off throttle unlike the vortec/prochargers. I thought about running a procharger and was talked into a magnuson roots blower instead. Should be up and running soon... :D
