Re: ECOTEC 2.0 LTG SWAP

You need to install a primer system on that motor. Go to aircraft Spruce and look up primer pump

I live in Mich and have had to set up a few aircraft engines with this system. it is a must in cold weather

https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/boa/ ... 08146.html

Anyone know anything about a B-W gearbox. Like what ratio that it might be and if robust enough to last. It looks like an aircraft conversion to me. The seller has no clue what it is.

Number one reason to me would they don't collect a boat load of debris if you travel high vegetation even with a grass rake. It take a lot of time to remove weeds out from around all the rigging in a conventional hull.

Re: MSD HEI

That MSD module is an open circuit board which i think can accumulate moisture on it. The other distributor fired right up (sealed module). I'm going to try to convert the MSD to a closed module like GM had for years. Very reliable

From the videos I've seen, they normally have to pull them out of the bushes, grab them by the head and put them down.

But they have really nice straight lines to get inside the cab. I thought it would be a lot of work to put a scoop behind the prop, turn it ar...
