longer rods will work without any mods. Be sure cylinder doesn't have a ridge at the top from wear.

bmorris... the the h2ad should have dynafocal mounts the other 0320's have straight mounts. The h model is def the best 4 cyl dollar for dollar. The 0360 angle valve is a bad motor but big $$$. oil red line is 245 f anything under is ok for continuous operation and you want to be at least 180 f to burn off moisture. You need to worry about cylinder head temp more for break in red line is 500 degrees f max. Just because oil temp is within limits doesn't mean cylinder head temps are. Really ...

360 rods are 1/4" longer adds lots of compression. Will have to run av gas

IMO Don makes the best i have ever ridden. Scorpion is cheaper but still a nice ride. I can't afford either :dontknow:

I know guys that have tens of thousands of dollars in 320's and none have made 200 hp turning less than 3000 rpm on regular fuel unless forced induction.

any less than .56 qt per hour is acceptable. Half a quart in 4-6 hours is actually pretty good.

If the bearings fit they are the right ones. high crush bearings are thin wall and wont fit a case for a thickwall bearing.

Lycoming has a 5.319 bore from a 580 you could use pistons,rings and cylinders.

Lead helps lubricate and reduces preignition but bad for the environment. it is good for engines.

mil-g-5572 is not jp-5 it is 80-87, 100-130, 115-145 octane fuels
