Re: Sensenich Props--Including New J Series

Price on Q rhr 3 bld 80" James, I don't have Q in right hand rotation nor that diameter. The Q application was for aircraft engines and thus LHR and smaller diameters. I think when they designed the NGQ they offered it in both left and right. Let me know if that was just a typo and you meant s...

Anahuac Crab Trap Cleanup Feb. 20

The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) needs some airboat help staging out of Ft. Anahuac Park Saturday Feb. 20. I will be out of town this weekend, but I let them know that I would spread the word and try to rustle some support. Please let me know in this thread who is planning on supporting. They like...

Re: Killin Time Prop testing and Gardner Marsh is perfect ri

Thanks Wayne for the details.

I still have my 3.26 CR quiet project in the works and trying to figure out if my plans should change on what blades to use with recent developments. The vortex blades look like an interesting option to try, but they aren't available in right hand rotation yet.

Re: Killin Time Prop testing and Gardner Marsh is perfect ri

Wayne, Awesome rig--I am interested in your results and some more details if you care to share. 1. Was the 12 blade stacked/9 combo too much prop i.e.. not enough blade angle to reach sweet spot? On the 12 stacked, did you run the 2-2.5 degrees delta between paired blades? I've never run a 9 (with b...

Re: Rides Anytime Soon?

There is normally a few folks that will gather together in Sept. during the Gatorfest weekend to ride around Anahuac/Wallisville area. I thought I knew most everyone close to me with a boat, but it looks like there are a few new folks I need to meet. I don't have much time to play these days, but I ...

Someone told me it was a pathfinder but I'm not sure I think I may have typed Pathfinder in the PM to you. I meant Pathmaker. Pathmaker airboats are made by the LA company Airboat Transportation Inc. I would jump on it for that! Put a BB on it like you planned or an LS and you would be in business.

Re: Anahauc crab trap cleanup Feb. 21

Still looking for some help if anybody is free. I think they have the Chambers County Airboats and the Parks and Wildlife Airboat that helped last year, but so far that is it. I will most likely be tied up with the spacewalk this weekend, so any help taking up my slack is much appreciated. Thanks, sh

Re: Anahauc crab trap cleanup Feb. 21

The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) needs some airboat help staging out of Ft. Anahuac Park like the last few years. I normally help with this and it is always a good time. I currently have two boats torn apart with engines removed, so I am going to need some folks to help take up my slack. :thumblef...

Re: Killin Time is on the jig, birth of DB 15.6 CR Deckover

Wayne,

I am interested in how your testing comes out on this. Will you be running increased pitch in the blades that run in the aft plane i.e. second set of 6 blades (rear) in the 12 blade hub, like we do in the traditional staggered setup?

Boat is looking good so far!

Well my box is still sitting in my garage and it's almost time to start boating... anyone have instructions or tips to get the thing apart to change the bearings and seals?
