But I run a gtsio 520 and can get cylinder temps of 450 and it doesn't hurt this motor not saying that its good for it but the lycomings get to this temp and its game over why is this continental that much better of a motor ...

I have a gtsio 520 conversion and u r right,the wt lasted all of 10hrs on my boat it has nowhere close to the push as a water walker/powershift, none of them do sinsinich,or whirlwind put a 3blade sig 72 and go where u want ive run them all I could not get one inpaticular dealer for a sale for there...
