Re: Gator tags
Easy solution. You must have a valid Florida hunting license (resident or non) to apply. That would eliminate all the non hunters that are just there to help friends increase their odds.

Actually Greg, you are incorrect. BSO does have jurisdiction and obviously FWC. After this incident I am quite sure we will see a little extra law enforcement out there.

It would be nice to know, due to the circumstances, if the boat is still there and it's location to know if it poses a hazard.

Re: 2014 HEROES TRAIL RIDE IN 2A
It all depends upon which weather report you look at. One says 10%, one says 70%. They have no idea what it is going to do. They only thing they are saying in consensus is that the system in the Gulf that is supplying this rain "may" develop.

Re: 2014 HEROES TRAIL RIDE IN 2A
You are correct Greg. It is closed until 1/2 hour after sunset on Sunday the 19th.
FWC was at the camp Saturday and he said he was looking for people without the permit. He didn't sound too thrilled about doing it but did say it was a $250.00 fine and it could be pushed as a misdemeanor.

Re: Archery hunting woos
Sorry it took so long to respond. Yes straight up the front leg maybe 1/3 of the way up the shoulder. I have even had a few of them, if the angle was right have the arrow stick high in the opposite leg and lock them up. We were shooting Slick Tricks. It would roll the hog over with the arrow stickin...

Re: Archery hunting woos
I have killed several hundred with sticks and strings. Forget the mechanicals and go to a 3 or 4 blade fixed. I went to shooting them broadside 1/3 of the way up the shoulder straight up from the front leg. Rarely do they make it 50 yards. You cannot shoot hogs like a deer. Their vitals are low and ...

Re: HELP NEEDED
Greg, I could see your rigging. Yours was a little further north. It was definitely Jason's. Neither here nor there it was some bad stuff. It doesn't look like it but that flag is probably close to 100 yards back in the rank stuff.
