Matt if you sink the boat nothing is water proof. :D Remember you get what you pay for. Do you wash down your boat after each outing, the salt it hard on the boats.

Your going to have to build a bigger boat if you want one. Just Remember you will never pay for the boat and motor with the saving by eating all those ducks and not buying beef.

Matt don't waste your time on a SBC, you need all HP you can get. I would start with that 502 zz that what my motor started out as and I think it go pretty good.

Me too barhopper ! swamper2, I cant speak for anyone else, but I would be amazed if there was any warranty on a custom built engine. Warranties are for production engines. My opinion only. Hate to differ but I see no reason that a custom engine shouldn't have a warranty, if he builts them for airbo...

Re: FAST Fuel Injection

My engine is back in Florida in the good care of Mike Felber. Originally we were going to put a FAST EZ system on it, then decided on an FAST XFI system. The main issue as to why we're flip flopping back and forth is that Cal, the EFI tuning guy isn't going to be available for a while and I need to...

I have found that length has been a big help for me here, but you need to have the cage to run them. So I guess we just keep tiring different set up til you find one that works.

Re: Props @ 4000 feet

The prop has an easier time spinning but the hp is lower too. One dude has a 600 hp(at sea level) small block with a 2.68 motor spinning at 4900 rpm superwide prop set at 2 1/4. He says the low end is awesome but his cruise sucks and he gets really really crappy fuel mileage. Somewhere around 1 to ...

R blades sweet spot

Was wondering what the sweet spot for the R blades are and what best rpms to run them. What is the different in push from a 3 blades to 4 blades in a 83" length?
