Don't know if anyone runs them now but I had stacked Ivo's on an 18' Alumitech behind a BBC and 2:1 belt drive that was pretty much unstoppable.

Free Shells in Fort Pierce
I have a little over five boxes of Remington 16 gauge shells. They are 2 3/4 and 1 oz. of 7 1/2 shot. I don't know anything about how old they are. The price $7.80 is stamped on them. PM me for directions and come get them for free. I don't own a 16.

Looking for one in the vicinity of Fort Pierce. Need an old .22 professionally restored.

Wife and I rented a Camaro convertible with a LTG awhile back and drove up the west coast from LA to Astoria. What a jewel of an engine.

Re: LS LOW TORQUE Engine Build
It's all about torque at the rpm you want to turn your engine. A water wheel might make 10,000 lbf of torque but if it does it at only 1 rpm it's not going to do a lot of work. Torque is like peanut butter and rpm is like jelly. You have to have both to make a pbj. You can have a lot of power with a...

Rural King is my store of choice. Never had a bad experience with them and you can't beat their prices on anything.

He should kill one with his bare hands and then come back and tell us about it.

Re: Engine suggestions
if you're guiding i'd strongly suggest a 20' boat. my 18/8 would get crowded in a hurry if i had 4 guys running around without a clue as to what they're doing. Typically builders only add like 1-1.5k per linear foot so the cost difference isn't huge. As long as you're not wanting to run up hills a ...

Torque does ZERO work. Power does work. Power makes thrust.

I'm staying out of this one. I'd rather argue religion. I'll say only the prop has no idea if the prime mover is a chainsaw engine or a steam locomotive.

Re: Ever wonder why a Top Fuel dragster
It would be fun to watch. If the drag race was 1,320 ft., it would take the 200 mph car 4.5 seconds to cover. Top Fuel cars were running under 4 seconds before the track was shortened.mojoe wrote:I would love to see the 200 mph rolling start vs top fuel dragster challenge!!
