Re: PEACE RIVER
Live in Bradenton. Peace River is a nice run south of 70, have a camp on the river. I don't believe you can run the Myakka River. We use to ski it back in the late 80's early 90's from 41 in North Port to Snook Haven. Then they made it all no wake north of 41.

Re: Cadillac 500 new carb best yet!
Sides, Yes sir, not ready for info on the new motor. Just want to get mine running right. Current stock 500 no upgrades and the carb is: 1405 600cfm - Metering Rods 70x47, Primary main jets .100 or .101, Secondary main jets .095, Orange power piston step up spring. It is sluggish in throttling up, w...

Re: Cadillac 500 new carb best yet!
Thanks for replying Sides. I hoped you would because of you're experience with caddy's. My motor is a stock 500 with no upgrades. I would think that you're carb would be too much for my motor. I have another 500 that I bought from Ruagatr (caddy experienced) but have not rebuilt it yet with the part...

Re: Cadillac 500 new carb best yet!
Jimmy, if you don't mind me asking, what is the model number of the edelbrock thunder series carb that you are using. I have the same setup as you and having carb problems. I looked on ebay as well and can't find a fit. I appreciate any input. I run a 500 DD with a 3 blade sensinech NGH prop. Thanks...

Re: seat covers
I (my wife as a suprise to me) took the advice of people on here and called Rusty at Buttraxx. I live in Sarasota (3 hour away) and took my boat to him and dropped it off. I couldn't be happier with the results. Had him put a wider seat up front and make camo seat covers, rain covers and had covers ...

jimmy, if you use the bbq only of the second step "where you shake it" it won't be so dark. It's the sugar, and if you get too dark, it then becomes bitter.

Re: Caddy Question
Hey Ron,
Use the search feature on the site. There is a wealth of information. I would pay attention to Ruagatr and sidejobs on the caddy.
I have met Ruagatr and he is a good man. I bought a 500 off of him.
