Re: Gillileo 13' 6 "

Sorry for not responding back sooner. I am diabetic and neuropathy is kicking my ass. Crack is half way down the hull in the corner heading towards the back. It will take at least 2 gallons of resin and 2 layers of cloth at the least. I know i am hard on hulls but if it was aluminum it would be dent...

Re: Gillileo 13' 6 "

Dont know if the damage is easy repairable. The left side of the hull has a crack 3 feet long in the corner 1 inch wide and it has ripped a portion of the bottom off at least 2 feet wide by 4 feet long. It might can be fixed but thought of other options. Water and mud up to the 2nd stringer. I can d...

Anyone have a 13 and a half foot Gilleo for sale or loan or rent lol. Don't have time to repair mine right now and would love to get back on the water. Nothing shorter.

Re: Wood vs Warp drive

The wood will push better. Warp will save your rigging and cage from cracks. The warp has to be on a boat that is setup just right to perform or it will not make you happy.

Not to be an ass but the gas peddle usually is what makes it constant. Just want to keep it simple.

Agreed. Give it a try. I am running an 8 blade staggered. 78 1/2 inches. Try about 11 degrees in it. Should be close.

Re: power issues on 400 smb direct drive

If it does let that 400 spin 3300. The Warp will take it no problem. The 400 has a max torque at 3200 stock.

Re: power issues on 400 smb direct drive

2.5 inches is not that big of a difference since my brother is running a 383 to a 400. I have ran alot of direct drives with warps. He should be able to bring the pitch down to 6 and run fine. If not the engine has problems or short of horsepower.

6 blades is not too much. It is alot but can be adjusted and ran. Try 7 degrees it should get you 2800 ish. If not you engine could looking at. My brother is spinning a 6 blade 72 inch at 2800 at a tight 7 degrees on a 383.

I guess it is gonna have to stay rustic. I have ran dead river for 20 years + and camped hardcore. I will do what ever is asked of me to fix what I have to but if it goes to let it go that is fine. I know I am behind on my Osceola dues. I guess time to visit Fat boys.

I have one. Two separate coils and two small spots on the distributor for the points to open and fire. Are you getting power to the points?
