Thanks for the help i can get a 144 blower for about 1200 but the cheapest belt box or gear drive ive seen on here is about 2200 but i think reduction is best route thanks

on a 350 dd what size cfm carb for a 2 bl 350 or 500 and would you run a 2 bl on a 144 blower if i went with that thanks

Thanks guys for the info not been on here for a few days been busy with v v a Christmas party so havent caught up mark you say oxbox are prett quite i got nothing against gear boxes just can't stand that noise but i think they would be less maintenance than a belt box what about weight difference th...

Well i had a gear box from classic it sounds the same as my father inlaw old corn crusher drove me crazy i have always belive if it makes that much noise it ant going to last long never had a belt drive or be on a boat hat had one may be worse i dont no thats why im asking for your help

Going t buld a new boat after the first of the year need a little advice its going to be 12.6 to 13 feet long and 7 or so wide what i want to no is would a dd 400 with a 144 supercharger be close to a 400 with belt drive will have poly and 2 to 3 people riding and want to run dry don't want a gear b...

What would ba a good set up for 400 sbcwith a 144 supercharger for dd use flat or dish piston rv cam or biger big heads or stock with 194 valves and 2 bbl or 4 bbl I think this is going to be my route some body out there has already done this im sure thanks

If I go ahead with my idea of building a chain reduction drive where would I get the hub that the prop bolts to or do you just take a dd prop adp and machine it to fit on the shaft you have and I belive that I read on here that somebody built one using a front spindle off of a 4x4 chevy truck becaus...

Want to build a new boat though about building a chain drive but every says thats a bad idea and I guess it is so can't afford a new belt drive or gear box but I can get a 144 charger for under 800 so putting that on a dd 350 what size of prop could I swing not looking to burn up no hills just want ...

The vortec heads take a 780 thousand reach plug I use ar 103 in mine

Yes boat does have poly and is 12/6 long and 7/2 wide and I started out with level on engine but does not hop with wife and 2 small grand kids in it but poly does stick out past bottom of boat at rear about 1 inch so I mit be able to wedge something in there to give it a little trim tab if you think...
