Re: line X or scorpion coatings.

Thank you for the advice, yes i think that would be the best solution.

Going forward , i was also looking for manufacturers for such products and having seen those China manufacturers ,OMG...
i think the best bet would still be in the USA or Europe.

Any leads ?

Re: line X or scorpion coatings.

Thanks Keebo for the lead,

I will follow up and see how it works out.

One of the main considerations is the flexibility of the coating when the container is lifted or
moved......whether hairline cracks will come out and result in leakages which will be a problem.

Thanks again.

Re: line X or scorpion coatings.

The usage of a 20 foot coated with line X is to make it waterproof so as to create a aquarium 20 foot x 8 foot x 8 foot.

Re: can airboat be airlifted by a helicopter

Thanks for the input.

Cradle is useful when going from A to B on land.

Lifting rings would be easier if we are going to drop off airboat into the sea or lake.

Cheers.

Re: can airboat be airlifted by a helicopter

Hi Guys, I think a we will leave the helicopter lifting capabilities to the pilot and for him to decide whether he can lift it at all WITHOUT dropping the airboat, it is going to be hell of a expensive "dropping' should that happen! My main concern is whether hull can withstand the lift without turn...

Re: can airboat be airlifted by a helicopter

can airboat be airlifted by a helicopter

hi Everyone,

I am curious as to whether a airboat say a 20 footer by 8 feet can be airlifted by a helicopter for rapid deployment in a place which is located far away from the airboat location.

Would the aluminium hull be able to withstand the stress of being airlifted?

Expert comments please.

Re: shipping out motorbikes

Hey Guys, Thanks for all the tips. Re: shipping out motorbikes

Yes, I planning to sit the bike IN the airboat like what whitebear said , since I am looking for a 16 or 18 footer airboat, it may be a tight squeeze, but we may just make it, but I am not 100% sure. Plan B would be a wooden frame sitting in the airboat and the bike on the wooden frame itself, sort ...

Re: shipping out motorbikes

The price differences you are seeing are driven by multiple factors including supply/demand as well as tax rate. Tax rates vary state to state and even county to county. Most vehicle prices do not include sales tax as is it is calculated on the final sale price. I doubt that a dealer in TN has much...

Re: shipping out motorbikes

Hi Whitebear,

Yes, that the one , but basically the problem is parts and back up services, but I will look at them when I am in Florida.

Btw, there is none in Singapore , so that's a added problem.
