Re: GO-435

Thanks for the information. I would like to stay at 70" max prop really don't want to widen my boat. Am I asking to much from a 72" X 13 fiberglass boat with this motor? Maybe I need to sell boat or motor and go in a different direction. Don't want to build something that I am not maximizing my HP. ...

GO-435 prop

I am putting my old boat back together and need some advice on props. I was running a Lycoming 0-435 (190 hp) and now going to a GO-435 (260 hp). The hull is 6' x 13' glass so my length on the prop is limited. (max 72"). Is anyone out there running a GO-435 and if so what prop are you using? I have ...

Re: Lycoming GO-435

My boat isn't going to let me have a 72". Will the prop that you are talking about fit on my 0-435 hub? are will i need to buy a new hub? If so do you have any idea on what kind of money to rig the motor out with that type of prop?

Just looking for information

Been out of the Airboat business for over 20 years. Built and played with them back in the 80s. I bought my first real airboat from a company in Micanopy Fl. called Airboat Specialty I think. Does anyone know it the guys are still around?

Re: Lycoming GO-435

My old prop is wooden and has a 3" hole in it and it was on 0-435. Do you think we can get enough pitch with a wooden prop that has a 3" hole and stay at 70" or less for this GO-435? My boat is 6" wide so I can get through trees on some of my trails here in La. I don't have that open areas like othe...

It was swing 68 x 34 I think, the prop is in bad shape, but i do have the prop hub that fits the splinds for the 0-435 and it will go on the GO-435. It will tak...
