Re: Is there a formula for running dry?

I agree with JR if you have a little Crown in the bottom and you pull it out and drink it on a regular basis you will run dry with ease.

Home for sale

I have a home I am considering selling on a main canal close to Sleepy Hollow in the Flying Eagle Preserve. My question is would this be a good forum to advertise? This is an excellent home with large Dock and Boat House. Two bedroom one and a half bath for only 59 thousand. Sent from my SM-G935T us...

Re: Anchorage area airboat trip.

Thank you for the response. I was kind of stunned by the lack of interest. Chuck at airboat Pros knows a number of people they're in Anchorage having sold them boats and is going to work out a trip with one of his customers for me. Again thanks for the response if we make it North I will contact you.

Anchorage area airboat trip.

I am coming to Anchorage for a weekend in the end of June. I would like to trade a trip on an airboat there for a trip on an airboat in the Flying Eagle Preserve Citrus County Florida. I have friends I'm staying with up there that have lived there for over 20 years that I haven't seen in that time. ...

Re: New ecotec concerns

Tony what he's talking about is that they just did a retune nothing new to the motor no add ons. Same thing they did with my motor which was basically 260 horsepower bone stock and with no modifications just a simple retune they got just over 300 horsepower out of it.

Re: Prop Vibration

You should also make sure that the blades are tracking exactly the same. You do this by putting a piece of angle iron attached to the transom with a vice grip. Adjust it so that it touches the outermost tip of one of the blades then turn each blade and make sure that they are at exactly the same pla...

Re: anybody running air ride?

All I did was build a pretty stout engine stand and put some bracing where the pivot points are I can still feel the hull under me and tell how it's riding but I can also stand upright at the end of the day. A piece of junk it is not. Exactly. Besides why would you take advice on new technology fro...

Actually the 2400 pounds of thrust comment is probably the funiest thing I have heard on here in a long time.   That's probably because you're not an engineer. It's kind of Physics 101. Years before you were an airboater Water Thunder Dave did extensive testing for thrust of vari...

Re: 556hp LSA vs. 600hp 418 Water Thunder

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack the thread. commenting on the LSA I must say it was the smoothest most reliable 550 horsepower motor I have ever had. I had the boat for about 70 hours and never had one single problem with it and it pushed my boat through almost anything I wanted to go through.

Plum I have been riding the whithLacoochee River mostly this summer. Because its hot we like to put in at 44 and ride down to Big Blue and swim in the spring. On our way back we quite often go up into gum Slough as it's also spring fed and nice and cool. I never use more and five to six gallons of g...
