the LN-25 is an excellent machine. tough, durable, and simple to use and set up. imo, its primarily used in industrial settings where large wire sizes and high amps/voltages are needed, just plug into an AC/DC stick welder and appropriate shielding gas and you're good to go. I talked to the people at howell today, they were very helpfull and patient. they offer a pmp that will work with the ecm for about the price of the walbro that alverez1112 mentioned. Sounds like GME has some experiance with using DBMs. maybe I should stick with that set up, seems simpler than fabbi...

nobody is using factory fuel injection?........ about 3" of free board in the middle, is stable enough that I can walk all the way around the motor and not dip any water. the flywheel is about 10" from the rear lip. bottom is 78" wide. just thought i would post a pic of todays results E

yeah, it looks like i've got my work cut out for me. The hard part will be sticking with it, knowing I can put on an intake, carb, and distributor AND be pretty dependable is probably the smart way to go. But in the mean time i'll do some homework. I just picked up an 08 4.3 today, am gonna put it on an 11' taylor, I plan on strapping it on the boat and float it this weekend. this is my first build, cant wait to get started E

:florida: awesome build! i laid out my steel flex the same way, nice tip on using acetone to clean up the ospho, props to the designer of that grass rake, cool. hope to get started on my engine stand and rigging soon. keep up the excellent work!! E

0290 HP ?

after doing a google search ive noticed that the 0290 has hp ratings ranging from 115hp up to 140 hp. looks like the bore and and compression are the same, so where does the HP difference come from? RPMs? mags? carb? thanks E :florida:

i have a 10'6" taylor hull and am wondering if it would be better to use one 4' rudder or two 32"-36" rudders. im in the process of patching and repainting the hull, and will be building the rigging from scratch. looking to be a "ride boat" pancake cage and two single seats, rear steer, manuel steer...
