Re: Buying a rifle at Dicks?

Dick's in Fort Lauderdale is closing out all Duck Commander merchandise at less than half price. Tee shirts for 7.48 Hooded sweat shirts less than 15.00. I think they are taking sides in the Robinson Duck Commander debate. They are not man enough to go public with this. Following Sandyhook, they mad...

Re: Laser Sights for Glock 9 mm G19

If this will be your night stand or home defense gun. Put a light on it. You have to identify your target before you shoot. If you live by yourself, it might be different. You don't want to shoot a family member. The StreamLight TLR-3 is the best choice for the Glock 19 because it's small, and has a...

Re: 3A steeling trucks

We had several center console boats stolen in my neighborhood of Garden Isles a few months back. in one case the thieves attempted to steal a new truck around the corner from the boat. The truck owner heared some noise in the night and caught the thief as he started the truck. He opened up with his ...

Re: Gabby Giffords husband purchasing guns

Am I the only one who noticed that the Gifford and Auroa shootings would have been far worst if the shooters used normal mags. During the Gifford shooting the shooter was stopped because he was using a 33 round pistol mag. That mag was long enough to allow a old lady to grab it out of his hand. She ...

Took 10years before I popped a valve seat. No other problems with a IGSO 540. I'm trying a carb setup at this time. Farmboy, I would like to see pictures of how you setup your a-1000 fuel system. I take it has a return line.

I liked the video. It showed the power of the Ecotec's. Everyone wanted to see how it ran in tough conditions. Well he showed us. I didn't think he was going anywhere near as fast as some complained about. Just remember, a low mounted camera will bite you if you post it.

Gas4blood. You and I will never get to vote on the renewing of the lease in 7 years. I do not know Gerald well. I have only meet him a couple of times in ten years. I am not a camp owner. I'm surprised that Gerald has not asked for this to end. His opening post is vague and misleading a lot of peopl...

Re: Me again, sad but true.

Nobody was/is getting picked on. It's true that the camp owners were not too happy to see there camps in a magazine showing the world this very special privilege that we have in being camp owners. Also it's not that we "aren't as friendly as u thought" either. It's just that we have managed to keep...

You are going to find a lot of opinions on Supercharged Lycoming’s. Seems more negative than positive. I have noticed you have one group of people who have never owned one. They are the most negative and seem to get their information second, third and fourth hand. Or from what they read on the inter...

Kahr PM40. I always take it over the Glock 26 because it's small enough to fit in my front pocket. I would leave to Glock 26 alot when dressed lightly.

I returned to the ramp about 4:30pm to 5:pm Sunday. Our group had 3 trucks. No problems here. Didn't see any problems either. Must have happened after we left. It was my first trip out of that ramp. I assume it was the 35mm ramp since it takes you south towards Bergerons camp. Correct me if I'm wron...

Be sure to bleed down your lifters. There's a good video on YouTube on how to clean and test the lifter for proper function. title -How to test the hydraulic lifter. You cannot pull the main body of the lifter out of the engine. Just the plunger and it's body. The video shows the main body just real...

I have injection. Switch to AED to give it a try. Only have one ride on it. It ran fine .head temp was cool but this engine has never run hot. From my AED blueprint sheet .. Jets primary 79 ...Jets secondary 91 ... power valve primary 2.5 . This is a boost referenced carb.

If you were the white truck parked at the south end of the landing today, When I came in at 11:00 there was three buzzards on your roof picking at the rubber on the passenger side doors. A tourist was taking pictures of them. I went over with a bottle of water and doused them and they flew off. Whil...
