Re: Weber carb on a 90

That carb would probably be to small. They are usually on a small 4 cylinder engine like a 1.6L to 2.4L engine.
A 350 two barrel holley would probably be better. Not enough CFM in the weber 32-36. JMO

Re: Looking for VW belt drive units

I have a VW with a centry belt drive on it now, but Rob does not make them anymore. Its only been a couple
of months ago someone had an ad in classifides for belt drives for VW engines. they kinda looked home made.

Re: ECOTEC engine mounts

Yes I'm running a 390cfm 4 barrel. I tend to be old school sometimes in a bad way. But I have her tuned
in pretty darn good ! I have put 2 deg. more pitch in the prop than what I had on the 220 groundpower.
Plus , almost 200lbs. lighter. BUT I will check the plugs again.

My engine seems to vibrate pretty bad below 1500 RPMs. Maybe my mounts are to ridged, I used the same mounts off my ground pounder 220 , they are about 1 1/2 in. in dia. and 1in. thick. I have one above and one below the mounts I built on all 4 corners. I have a ...

Re: This ECOTEC any good?

Hey , One BFC are you guys running gear boxes instead of belt drives and who's ?
The only reason I did'nt seek any other drive is I am having a hard enough time being
able to afford the project as it is without a new set of blades. On Mike's boat , what prop
and at what pitch is he runnin ?
