Camp Mack is where I go, its got about everything you need, hotel-restaurant-store-gas-multiple lakes. I
love it, its perfect for airboating and fishing!
Don't know the builder, but it was built to go in a "Tractor Pulling Truck" but they never ran it, and the guy needed some money and now its on an airboat, and we are trying to guess by the RPM and gear ratio and pitch what its making.
My father-in-law put a new BBC with an OX-Drive 2.55-1 turning a 80" 4-blade "R" at the 3.5mark and he's turning 5300rpm WOT, any guess as how much HP. he's putting out?
Id like to say "THANKS" to "Dan The Airboat Man" for all the tech support and taking time to answer questions that we have thrown at him about prop size and pitch, etc, And also for building a very well-made and incredibly - quiet gearbox (Ox-Drive). I have owned several different...

I'm looking to find out when the next big ride or run is planned anywhere in Florida. Me and some budds here in SC. would like to plan a trip and join in on a ride. I've been looking at the planned events calender and not seeing much in the next couple of months.
Welcome to SC., There are a couple good places to ride in that area that I'm familiar with, The Congaree River is the best place in my opinion "Lots of shallow water" and its about 10 minutes from Fort Jackson. The Wateree River is another its about 30 minutes away, Be careful on the lakes...
I saw last night on the local news [wistv.com] here in SC. that a manatee had been found in Lake Marion which is approx. 60-70 miles from the coast. Thats ODDD!
