Working on the site this weekend...

Gonna be trying out a new gallery solution. I've been testing it for awhile and it's the best alternative I've been able to find. As I've posted in previous threads, the original gallery is not supported by it's programmers anymore. That means it's gonna quit working at some point because they don't...

New YouTube Video Posting Procedure

Had to update the BBCode that displays YouTube videos in the forum. The new BBCode uses html5 instead of flash and also displays responsive videos for mobile devices. The posting procedure is similar, but a little different now... On YouTube.com, click the youtube video's share button and copy the e...

Sorry to hear that Ducknutt. Hope everybody's okay.
We lost a few trees, but had no other damage to speak of. Still waiting on power & internet though.

Re: HOUSTON TX AREA

I did see a long line of FWC trucks w/boats in Texas on Fox Business News this afternoon. I'm proud of Texas. Looks like the locals stepped up & are making a big difference. It's a way better concept than waiting for the federal government to come save you IMO. Hope the loss of life news doesn't...

I received this email today: Dear Southern Airboat, Please reach out to anyone interested in helping us get 2 guys off a damaged tugboat in Orange Texas! Paying cash! Although I realize people in the area have needs to get to dry land, this would be a private deal. I am an ICU nurse in Slidell and t...

Is it direct drive or gear reduction. ..?. I'm looking for one for our FD SAR team Sent from my SM-T818V using Southern Airboat mobile app powered by Tapatalk From the looking at the pictures, it is direct drive. However, it's a CAD 500...one of the few car motors that can make a great DD boat IMO....

The slow typing thing might be your phone. I have an ipad that slows down if I don't reboot it every now & then. You're right about the old style being gone. It's not compatible anymore. I may be able to replace it with something similar in the future, however there may be a quick fix that your ...

Are you on a phone or computer John.

Nothing has really been changed that would slow things down like that. So far it's appearance only and the template is basically the same as it was with the exception of the header image which is not that large file size wise.
