Re: 520 running cooler on one side

How’s the spark on that side? Could be a weak condensor . Swap condensors and see if it makes a difference. Jmtc

Re: Talk to me About Sea Deck

Yes Deuce i am referring to the hydro-turf. They reingineed it a couple of years ago . Put better uv stabilizers in it and a slighty harder ahell on it and it seems to hold up better than the old stuff . Just use 3M spray glue around the edges and it’s rock solid

Try this guy for your deck material. I put it on my hunt boat 2 yrs ago and it’s holding up well. Alot cheaper than seadeck and looks good .

Ride time

I have family in town and they are staying in the Lauderdale area. My nephews want to go slidin for a bit and asked if i would take them out for a ride. Is Holliday park a decent place for a short ride and is it worth it to drag my boat from Jupiter?
Thanks in advance for any help

Re: KRVSA Freedom Ride Pics and Thanks to all that came

I sat down to eat lunch and met a couple that dragged thier Diamondback from Minnesota. They live on a lake/river system with plenty of marsh to slide in. I asked them if they get complaints about the boat noise and they said yes , until they take the folks for a ride. Lol!! No more complaints after...

Sensenich

Wanted to send out a big thanks to the crew up at Sensenich props. I had an issue with a NGQ that needed fixing and the great folks in Plant City did a great job fixing the prop and getting it back to me in time for the duck opener on Saturday. All is well and again the airboat family is full of goo...

Re: Oil drippage

The thing is ,the trouble remained after we replaced all 6 cylinders. No change at all . I would think if it was the top end ,something would change. Before we did the cylinders it was using 5 qrts of oil a day now it's down to 2-3 a day and i would say most of that is pouring out of the carb. I sur...

Re: Oil drippage

Thanks Twister for the educated answer!!!
We'll plug that hose off and see if that helps ,then we can move on to the other leaks that pgs2845 speaks of .

Re: Oil drippage

The intake does have a rubber hose from each side and it connects to the case (up high on the accessory case ). It looks like someone took a plug out and put in a barned fitting and ran the hose to the intakes. Is this what you are speaking of?

Oil drippage

Question:
What would cause oil to run out of the carb on a 0470 true aircraft ? All 6 cylinders have been replaced and the trouble still follows. Not mine ,but a buddy's boat.
Thanks in advance :violent1:

Re: Gator permit

Are you refering to the first draw ? If so emails have been sent out a few weeks ago. You can always log in and check if you haven't heard. With this new system there wasn't many permits that went unclaimed.

Re: Airboat Drone Video

That was my nephew , he came down from Virginia and asked if he could bring his drone . I said hell yes and so glad i did. At one point we were cruising 28 MPH and that thing would be right on our tail, without slowing down the boat he would accelerate the drone and it would pass us like we were sta...

Alumminum primer

I'm stripping the powder coat off of my alumminum rigging and want to know what kind of primer to use before i paint . Should i use an aircraft two part epoxy primer or just stick with the zinc chromate as a base ? The reason for the redo is that the rigging wasn't prepped properly and the pc was fa...

Also, is there a liner that goes in them to protect the gun?
