Re: Places to ride

BAMA not many good Airboat ride places that far north in ALA or GA. If you don't mind traveling 3-4 hours you can be at Lake Seminole OR Lake Jackson in south GA and north FLA and they both have excellent Airboat riding. We usually have 2-4 good size 20-30 Airboats rides at different places every ye...

Re: Lake Eufaula

That's right OLF, our Registration gives me and you that right. The only 2 places that I have seen Airboat restricted in South GA are the OCKEEFONOKEE Swamp and a Impound at Darrin on the Brunswick coast, they have Signs stating NO AIRBOATS ALLOWED.

Re: Neils Scorpion WaterThunder DD

I seen Neils boat in action yesterday on the Hill, it moves and runs on green dry ground easier than my 11x7 Scorpion with a SV0540 and my boat has Quickslick. I was at WT's ordering my 500hp LS3 carbed motor with a Gearbox +8 blade Saber, and when we were done Dave said let me show you something ou...

Excaliber 4 blade bowtie

Will a 72'' 4 blade bowtie Excaliber be good for a all around woods prop for a IO550 going on a 10'6x6'8 Deckover sled. I already had a Q AND WARP DRIVES on other boats and not considering those,I'm looking for good mid range and top in speed. My buddy has a 6 blade SABER stagger 72'' on a pumped up...

10' Sled

Would a IO550 Continetal be to much weight for a 10' x 7' sled 9'' transom with a 1 seat rigging, oh and I weight 240, I just don't want it to bounce or torque real bad. I've seen a 540 on KAMAKAZI race boat, I think it would be fine what you all think. Thanks LSX1

IO550 CONTINETAL

Are IO550's with GITSO cylinders good for 600 to 800 hours starting from a fresh rebuild, any pro's and con's. How's the starting from being fuel injected, And are they as strong as a AV IO540. Thanks LSX1

Re: 0320 miss at 3/4 to full throttle

Either has a fuel restriction to carb or the float in the carb does not have enough DROP.Because engine will go to WOT for 10 seconds or so then lean out of fuel and start popping. My 0520 did the same thing and it was the FLOAT DROP was set wrong after a so called Mechanic rebuilt it. Fixed it myse...

Duece I had 2 of the wild Innovation feeders and got your same results, one went bad so replace both with the digital Moultrie feeder motors and now get 3 to 4 months of run time at 6 seconds twice a day feedin porkers, I get my dry cell batters at Tractor supply.LSX1
