thanks, didn't know if i should put something in there to keep the heat off of the fiberglass, but assuming the prop moves enough air to keep cooled off.

can anyone give me yes or no on using a chevy 3.8ltr motor in a mini fiberglass hull. Neighbor has one in a car next to me, low miles wrecked. If it would work, would like some ideas on what type of drive to use, direct, gear or belt. convert it back to carb or leave efi. thxs Wayne

fiber glass hull and exhaust thru the back of it

pretty simple ? for someone, I bought a marsh master fiber glass hull, is there an issue with running the exhaust through the back of the hull using a three inch pipe and a plate to bolt it on. Running a 520 in the boat. thxs Wayne

Can you burn ethanol in an aircraft engine? Burning Av gas now in a 10:1 compression motor the reason I'm asking is, we live next to an ethanol plant and can get all we want cheap!

Tried using arcticat 600efi and it doesn't have the low end torque needed to spool up the motor to the upper rims to use the power in the motor so I'm now looking for a rotax or a motor out of a jet ski to use...

got me a fuel pump that will maintain the the 38psi tonight, put it on and checked it with a gauge at idle and WFO, hung right in there. hey thanks for the offer, this was a running snowmobile that i took out of my snowmobile after using it this winter, i looked on the arcticat website and it called for 38psi on that motor and my dealer said around 20, so i ordered a fuel pump that would deliver 40 psi, assuming the fuel rail pressur...

Got a little time today to work on the boat, got the temp gauge in, the two inch exhaust bent and on, the airbox and computer on and all the wiring done, the tach and exhaust temp gauge. well, the radiator/cooling system is all plumbed, the two cycle oil tank is on and plumbed to the oil pump, the muffler is in place, need to bend a pipe to continue it on to the back of the boat. Ya kinda high i wanted that prop to give me all she's got to give I've built it move the motor down if need be but it don't weigh much to be top heavy well see what happens finished the cage will post some pics in a bit

Worked on the new boat friday evening and today, ran out of conduit for the rest of the cage, will do some more cross bracing on the engine stand tomorrow and work on the seats. starting to look like a boat.. lol
