I run nothing but AV gas in my 470, so payin 4.99 a gallon sucks but that's the cost of having fun. I only ride grass and avoid deep water as much as possible. Pretty sure the new hull will have a 9in transom so it may be to much weight. I appreciate all the opinions.

I live about 3-4 miles from holiday park off of griffin road. If you want to keep your boat in my back yard I have plenty of room. It would be safer than leaving it in a hotel parking lot. I might even get a chance to ride a little.
It is an 0-360 it was originally fuel injected, someone cut the intake pipes and put a demon carb on it. We are still in the coast guard and it sounds like we will be here for a while so im gonna need a different setup. I recently inhereted a bigger boat with a 470 but the hull is in pretty bad shap...
I would love to keep the boat the way it is but there isnt enough seating for me my wife and 2 little ones. (12 and 6) if my wife had it her way we would have a tour boat so everyone could go.
I have a 12x7 hancock sled 6" transom. I currently have a Continental 0-360 with 2 single seats and would like to change it to an0-470 with a single driver and double passenger. Will this set-up work or is it to much weight? Thanks for any input.

My oil pressure at startup is 65-70 psi then drops to 20 after its warm. Its been like that since I bought the boat 2 years ago. As far as temp im not sure. Dont have a guage hooked up.
Tryin to figure out where all this is goin down, i normally put in at 40 mile bend and run north to the hilton then to the swimmin hole. If someone could point me in the right direction i sure would like to be a spectator. Thanks
