I am a diehard ford guy but Big journals equate to high bearing speed when you got one singing.

Where do you find a drive timing pulley for a taper shaft?

belt drive info

I recently aquired an Arctic cat spirit 500 snowmobile engine and currently setup direct drive. I would like to buy/build a reduction unit for it and turn a bigger prop and get the motor in its power. Any info on a redrive would be appreciated.

This is what I use.
Nice neat and clean. 1 hose from tank and one to the carb. It's low pressure super high volume. Self priming. They are a lil pricey but it's compact and simple.

Got dark before I could water test. I don't think this prop would hold much more power, and the only reason I thi...

Re: 0520 not turning the proper RPMs

So it ran good
You fat'n it up ( larger main jet) and now it runs bad.

A stumble is usually caused by a lean condition upon quick acceleration from the squirter not being large enough or the accelerator pump not having enough volume

Do you have a secondary oil filter inline with the cooler? If so put a new one, and some fresh oil.

Re: 3 Blade H series

To stagger you must have 4 blades, 6blades, 8blades, 9 blades, 10 blades, 12blades
You don't have enough blades or the right setup for stagger.

Re: First hull build ?

Whitebear, I understand that but this hull is going to be 7'9" across the bottom, the hull I run now is only 6' and flares to 7' at top. So this hull will roughly displace 123% more water before sinking than the hull I currently run. So I think I have the bouancy part. this hull should displace roug...
