Re: Switching to automotive starter

I burned three of the MSD ones up. the rubber seal on the body was why i went with it to keep water out. But they also keep it from grounding properly. So run several grounds to it.

Anyone used this coating/paint for there warps?

Going to redo my blades. I was wandering if any one has used this instead a normal lacquer. Wanting to go with something that will hold up a little longer. I was looking for a hard clear coat to just put over the standard lacquer then found this. Just wanted to know if any one has used it. Here is t...

Re: Switching to automotive starter

I would recommend going with a stock car starter. Not a after market aluminum high dollar starter. I was going through 5-6 a year with high dollar starters and just kept buying better and better ones trying to fix the issue. The problem was that the aluminum starter wouldnt get a good ground through...

Re: AC to car engine what am I doing?

I agree with that for sure. But for me to build a CM that would have the power that a GSO push's out. I just don't have the money for that kinda build. Yeah now find a good 480 supercharged with a gear box? Nope it is harder to find a good 480 done right then a car engine boat. I looked at a nice 4...

Re: AC to car engine what am I doing?

find somebody with a compareable one and go for a ride. that will help u out i bet!!!! I am going to try that this weekend. Every car engine boat I see always look like they are going slow and the back is real low this is what scares me. But at the same time there is not much maintenance and you ca...

Re: Warp Drive Max RPM

i Have a 79" 10 blade all set to 14 degrees. I talked to warp awhile back and he says i need more blades, to go up to a 12 blade. But once again thats the opposite of what they are saying on the site of having it turn 2800.

Re: Warp Drive Max RPM

Going to bring a old post back to the top. My question is if you want the prop to spin at 2800 rpm's for best performance. At what rpm does the blade start to flatten out. My motor is turning 3350 and with my gear box it puts my blade spinning at 2150. So that tells me that i need less pitch in the ...

STACKING WARP DRIVES?

Has any one stacked a evenly spaced 8,10,or 12 warp. I have seen a guy once with a stacked 12 and was thinking of trying on my boat. I just was wandering if there was a noticeable difference. I was going to take my even spaced 10 and go with a even spaced stacked 5-5 setup. I am running mine at abou...
