Re: Ummm Yep WATCH THE NEWS

This goes way beyond someone stealing hard earned money. Time is way more valuable and having to deal with the resentment towards another is not good for the heart or mind. My ordeal with them started in April of 2015 when I ordered the boat with payment and to this day do not have what I paid for. ...

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

Any news on DirtRacer4 did he get his boat as promised today is 3 weeks ? In fairness to Affliction if showing progress while the delays are excessive it is a step in the right direction. I have been told I will have my boat in 2-3 weeks. :bounce: Although I was told 2-3 weeks on Nov. 28th, I still...

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

I have been told I will have my boat in 2-3 weeks. :bounce: I have not received the pics or status updates I hoped for, but was told he's working on it and trying his best for next week. Almost 20 months without a boat, so I am looking forward to spending time with my sons doing some tournament fis...

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

I was told my boat would be done by the 21st and I hope it is the truth this time. No record of a registered business "fictitious name" in state date base that search revealed. sunbiz.com search records fictitious name For whatever reason it was changed to "Jeff Love Affliction Airboats" humm ... ac...

Re: Affliction Airboat Experience

I went with Affliction because it was suppose to be a custom build at a good price with a warranty & delivered. I also talked to some Affliction Airboat owners and Jeff about his build quality & timeline beforehand. I sold my previous airboat on April 27, 2015 to order an Affliction Airboat on April...

Re: Help with S Blade weights

In my case 90g (36 pennies) is a lot of weight to remove. I didn't get a chance to call Sensenich today, but I thought they balanced by adding epoxy or something to the inside of the blade.

I will be calling tomorrow and although not new I would think it is a matched set, all three have the same tip weight numbers marked on the tag.

Help with S Blade weights

I have a vibration so I weighed my super wides on a paint mixing scale and this is what they weighed in grams. 3556.4 3478.2 3469.7 I understand this is static weight, but how concerned should I be? I plan on sending them in for balancing when I return from a trip next week. Can the static be off th...

Anyone in the Leeville area?

I'm going there with my boat for the first time to do some scouting. It sure would be nice to know of another airboat in the area.

Timing chain & Distributor gear on BBC???

I found that my timing was fluctuating, so I pulled the distributor for the first time since purchasing boat and it had a steel gear on it. Shouldn't it have a bronze gear if it's a hyd. roller cam? I couldn't really tell if the cam gear was worn. It's a Felber 598 and I have had no luck obtaining a...

Re: Oxbox

Just wanted to let everyone know that I can't speak highly enough about Brian Krug, Ox Drive Reductions. When Brian was looking at buying the business he noticed a deal I had made with Dan that involved a Stinger I sent to him as down payment on a new Ox Drive that Dan never produced. Brian assured...

Info Needed on Felber 598ci

Anyone have one or know someone that does? I purchased a boat with a Felber 598ci BB and have not been able to get any info on the rpm it would be making the most power. I'm doing a reduction change and only want to do it once. I will be doing some testing as soon as I can, but figured I would try h...
