Re: complete remodel!

I am building the Freedom Craft/Kennedy Boats I can make a 12 ft, 14ft, 16ft, or a 18ft. the boats are all composite from stringers to deck lids 100% no wood. Depending on market price of resin will dictate price currently I can build at $220 a foot.

If you like the way this boat rides and handles I can build you this same set up in a 14 footer, I personally like them but I guess you could say I could be considered biased LOL

Re: Kennedy airboats

Glad to get the info on the Kennedy name still being used, I will be coming up with a new name. Keep getting conflicting stories on name use, locations of molds and who owns what. Sounds like time for a new start. On the weight of a 12' with a 3' deck should be 480 approx depends how long of a deck ...

Re: Kennedy airboats

I am currently using all composite stringers, No wood is used in the boat. The Freedom Craft name and molds are being used in Nebraska or that is what was told to me. Very little difference. As far as a racing boat there is a step hull here I hadn't even looked at it, Roy had one they raced in south...

Re: Kennedy airboats

Thanks guys for the input, I'm still putting the same amount of woven just being sure to roll it out and bring the resin up thru the chop and not keep adding extra resin. And if anyone is interested in the 12' boat I've got a drop in to build it, have molds for the 12', 14, 16, and 18'
