You then slide them into the upper mounting holes on the unit, under the belt to hold the belt up. Look into the housing u...

Re: 5.7 vortec misfire

I don't know if this applies, but years back my son had a 98 dodge that had a miss. I check the plug wires with a multi meter and cleaned and regapped the plugs and still had a miss fire. finally got with a mechanic and found out it had a little bit of resistance in one of the plug wires. he told me...

Re: Thinking about buying first boat

run!! I like that! but for real, if you buy something to old and not to reliable, hell in a few more months you will have to put 5000.00 in fixing ever thing that breaks. trust me, I've had a boat that suck my bank account every time I started it. if your not able to turn wrenches on a airboat, then...

Re: Prop/reduction rpm question

tenpoint, you need to take advantage of a wider prop and pitch the blades past the marks. marks are only a reference point. like I said before, my prop is 1" past the marks. when running dry I only spin my engine at 3600 to 4000 depending on the terrain. running in skinny I turn around 2800 and deep...

Re: Any of these in America? Diesel 2 stroke

Detroit has made 2 stroke engines since the late 1930's to the late 1990's. 2 stroke diesels make good power but have a narrow power band. As for a Detroit in a dump truck or a Deutz in a tractor, my experience with them from years back is that you had to run the Detroit between 1700- 2100 rpm and t...

Re: Nitrous on 220 gpu

I've seen a couple of gpu's on nox and they would run like hell! Them boats were crazy fast! Using gpu's for industrial applications should tell you that they are pretty stout and would run continuously for hours on end. I'm no ac guy but I know them motors have a lot of built in redundancy and shou...
