It's a 11 tooth gear and I got the new starter and switched the bendix so it's same gear same bendix.

A friend of mine has a 220 continental and when he turns mags off and rolls the motor over with the starter it works fine but as soon as he turn the mag on as soon as the engine fires it makes a grinding sound. H2ad just got a new crank and mains my lifters look pretty rough I have heard a lot of people suggest ford lifters. I have looked many times and I can't seem to find an answer to weather they will work or not or if anyone has a set of lifters for sale and how much they'll run me. I think only 1 lift...

need help splitting h2ad case

I spent quite some time last night trying to split my friends case and I can't seem to get it.are there some hidden bolts? Any info is much appreciated. I split 2 125 cases before and never had a problem.

I was at about 30 with warm engine not hot then changed a cylinder with new rings and ran at jolly a couple weeks ago it was my first time out with my new hull and this motor. Oil pressure does come up but not by much. 10 psi idle to maybe 20 to 25 at 1200

Would a fairly pitted oil pressure relief ball cause oil pressure to be this low?

Yes it's a wide deck if you were asking so could I use 0320 angle valve cylinders if there also wide deck?

I recently bought a h2ad and got it on my boat and noticed oil pressure was at 10psi hot is the any other reason for low oil pressure besides main bearings before I split the case? Oil pump was a little worn and the oil pressure relief ball was a little rough and there is 7 washers in the relief val...

what bolt pattern is my engine (continental A65) i was on warpdrive website and notced there was SAE1 SAE2 And VW. i know its not a VW bolt pattern but which other one is it?

in all tyime i have had the motor running is about 25 maybe 30 min. i had to get it to operating temp at the airport to do the leakdown test. what do you mean by run up to clear out?

leakdown test today number 1 and 2 cylinders have bad rings anyone know where i can find the a65 rings?
