Slick bottom fiberglass hull durability
Been running a 13’ laser for few years now with poly and debating on trying to reglass stringers in my 13’6” cottonmouth with 7’7” transom and stick with slick bottom that was on it when I bought it or if it will be durable enough for bereaved county saint johns running with LS or should I go ahead ...

Re: 351w carb tuning
I am running a 455 Buick with a edlebrock 600cfm and swinging a 72 super snapper pretty well and I have timing set to 32* and an idle 11* and it’s more responsive and better on fuel than my 650cfm Holley vacuum secondary I had on it and I tuned it to maintain 480* exhaust temperature at wide open th...

Re: 400 sbc timing
Only thing is you will have to pull the shaft out of the distributor to clearance the advance slot on the top of the shaft in order to get the 19 degrees of mechanical advance or take it to a race shop and let them know what your trying to achieve and most speed shops can customize the distributor f...

Re: 400 sbc timing
I generally set base @ 13 degrees on my Buick and it hits 32 degrees before 1500 rpm and I don’t care if it’s at 90 outside or 220 the engine fires right up

Re: p0087 silverado duramax
Never seen anyone properly rebuild the filter housing with success. The filter housing from GM isn’t that expensive depending on year model. I would install a FASS fuel system on the truck and never look back. And a P0087 code is low rail pressure caused by lack of fuel to the injection pump or pump...

Re: 4cyl Ecoturd now in Silverado
Uhairball that is definitely way far out. I'll be to old to drive or dead before that happens. Also there will ALWAYS be older vehicles around no matter what. I won't even by the new diesel trucks because of the regeneration crap. Anything newer than 06 is crap in my opinion. That’s why there is gu...

Re: Running with low oil pressure question
If the oil lines are after the sensor in the oil plumbing of the engine then you are only restricting cooling effectiveness of the cooler with smaller lines and increasing the flow to the cooler with larger lines but not gonna effect the engine oil pressure if I am wrong please correct me but if you...
