Re: WORLD RECORD 1000 yard balloon shot with a 9mm Hand Gun!

Forgive my ignorance but didn't he say it was a .357 in the begininning of the video? Why would you make a 9mm revolver when it's a rimless cartridge? Mandatory moon clips sounds like he'll to me. 9mm is .355 right? :dontknow:

Re: Adams Arms

Seems like for that money in an upper you could get a low round count SR556. And the review said he had 15,000 rds between 3 uppers which doesn't speak much to the durability, not yet anyways. Not that they won't last but I'd bet my Colt in boot camp had twice that through it by itself and together ...

Re: shipping out motorbikes

If you don't register it at a state DMV then you won't pay sales tax. Or just buy what you want from an individual if it is for off highway use. Import taxes will be based on where you ship it. Shipping costs and wait times for an item that small will vary widely. Anything you buy where sales tax is...

Re: Shell casings discharge?

My LGS sells out of the G42s pretty fast so they are still going for sticker price. No blue labels yet either for those that qualify. I want one just because. Wife has a Keltc PF9. It eats Winchester white box like it's going out of style, no ftf or fte in years since break in. It ejects wide right ...

Re: RX7 drive unit question

Not to get is a pissing match but 90,000 is rebuild time on most rotary motors that are run hard. Over heating while airboating isn't unheard of especially when there are up to 5 different causal factors. And I don't know what you've been "driving" but 200,000 isn't a pile of miles now a days for mo...

It would be different yes but Rotary's aren't known for longevity are they? That's the good thing about LS, SBC, Lycoming, continental and the like, longevity.... Just my .02

Re: 14x7 cottonmouth cant get boat on plane need help please

Don't understand all the "over propped" comments before even knowing what size or pitch it was, but then again I'm new here. How's the compression? One post said it had a "new" motor on it. I wouldn't leave it at "seems like it idled good"...

As the crow flies, you are 3 miles from my parents house. Head east on 64 a few miles and put in at Pioneer Park in Zolfo Springs. You can ride south (left from the ramp) all the way to Charlotte Harbour if you wish.

My sister had one in 2wd. Got 18 mpg hwy the time I drove it, hand calculated. 4wd could throw that out the window though, especially with leveling kit and tires/ lift and 35s. Do yourself a favor and leave it stock as possible for your needs. Every time I buy tires I get a little closer to stock an...

Re: AR15 or Variant -vs- Weatherby

Because this was brought up earlier. IIRC, the differences in 5.56 and .223 are in the chamber. 5.56 is loaded hotter because the throat on a 5.56 chamber is longer not allowing projectile engagement into the lands and grooves, thus not affecting chamber pressure. That also makes the recoil results ...

Re: AR15 or Variant -vs- Weatherby

If I ventured into Weatherby territory I wouldn't stick with .223 ballistics. Any number of Weatherby Magnum cartridges will do a better job and if you plan on traveling to hunt. A host of game out there can't be hunted with a .223. You listed all of the AR strengths as unnecessary for you so I thin...

What parts did you go with Cowboy? Figured out what sights you are using yet? That close you can't beat an RMR. Low profile so it comes out of the passenger seat quick too, you know, for whatever.

I love my old green label Colt. No doubt about that. Not well versed in the newer ones. The one I am issued is an FNH and I have had it for 7 yrs, been on 4 deployments to 17 countries and shot just fine at the range last year. Can't go wrong with Tier 1 rifle, for the right price. The finish still ...

Re: AR-15 build

I bought the PSA daily deal a while back and got a flat top upper that is flawless for $40. Mas defense has great prices on all barrel profiles usually. Sometimes PSA actually has a flat top complete uppers for $300. Joeboboutfitters has had recently, some of those polymer complete lowers for $100 o...
